Often it makes sense to use batteries obtained locally, such as the golf cart or L-16 type by Trojan, Interstate, Deka, US battery, etc. For smaller systems we offer sealed batteries, and for larger systems we offer Solar-One batteries which feature a 10 year warranty and Free shipping. Flooded lead acid is the traditional choice for deep cycle performance because the amp hours per dollar far exceeds any other technology at this time. If you need a sealed battery for a small unattended system we can provide high quality Absorbed Glass Mat or Gel batteries from Deka, Concorde, or Tysonic.
