Solar Tracker in Colorado

T-21

T-21
The SunArx® T-21 mounting frame holds any conventionally framed modules, normally in 2 rows. Each row can be up to 163" long. This works well for 72 cell modules (175s) which are about 32" wide, and 54 or 60 cell modules (200s) which are about 39" wide. This works out to up to 10 175W modules or 8 200W modules.

What makes the T-21 single-axis tracker better than other solar panel mounting solutions?

1. Works on standard 6" pipe. Does not require precise foundation layout or a level site. Typical foundation is 24" diameter by 6' deep.
2. Central parts of the frame are welded A36 steel and hot-dip galvanized. Hot-dip galvanizing is by far the most durable finish available for steel.
3. Mounting Rails are our own proprietary aluminum extrusions. No existing standard extrusions met our requirements for strength and design.
4. Both rail position and mounting clip position are adjustable to be compatible with any brand of module with conventional rear mounting holes.
5. Simple design with low parts count for faster installation. Nuts and bolts are minimized by using welded connections and pins.
6. Extremely simple elevation angle adjustment. We believe that adjusting seasonal elevation angles are important, especially with single axis tracking. Unlike most competing racking systems, seasonal adjustment does not require loosening and retightening several nuts and bolts.
7. Included with the T-21 is an American-made linear actuator. The mounting of an actuator on a tracker is extremely important; failure of the attachment points can lead to broken modules. This is practically impossible with the T-21 since all connections are pins instead of nuts and bolts or clamps which can loosen.
8. 10 year limited warranty on the entire frame and actuator.

Patent Pending.
