The cable between your battery bank and inverter carries the highest current in your entire system. Undersize it or use poor crimps, and you'll get voltage drop, overheating, or worse.
What you need to know:
- Gauge matters – 1 AWG, 2/0, or 4/0 - depending on inverter size and distance
- Length matters – Keep runs as short as practical to reduce voltage drop
- Crimp quality matters – A loose lug creates resistance and heat
What we offer:
- Pre-made inverter cables – various lengths and gauges
- Bulk cable – cut your own
- Custom lengths – tell us what you need and we'll crimp it with our UL listed system
Typical applications: Connecting a single inverter to a battery bank, or multiple inverters in parallel.
