A solar panel generates power, but a charge controller makes sure that power actually helps your batteries – without overcharging, draining backwards at night, or cooking them on a sunny day.
Our SLD Tech (formerly Solarland) charge controllers are built for 12V and 24V battery systems – perfect for small off-grid setups, RVs, boats, sheds, and remote power stations. (Note: None of these work with 48V systems.)
What You Get:
- PWM or MPPT options – Choose basic, budget-friendly PWM or high-efficiency MPPT (check individual models).
- Simple setup – Clear LEDs or digital displays show battery status and charging activity.
- Reliable protection – Built-in safeguards against overcharge, over-discharge, reverse current, and short circuits.
Common Uses:
- Small cabins and sheds
- RV and van auxiliary battery charging
- Boat trolling motor batteries
- Off-grid lighting or gate openers
- Backup power for radios or monitoring equipment
Which One Do You Need?
- 12V or 24V battery system? → All of these will work.
- 48V system? → None of these will work – please call us for alternatives.
- Want to maximize power in low sun? → Choose an MPPT controller (higher efficiency).
- On a budget or small panel? → A PWM controller is perfectly fine.
