Helpful Solar Links.  Maybe someday we’ll have all the answers you’ll need about going solar, but we admit that we’re not there yet. Solar Pro magazine – Technical articles for photovoltaic and solar thermal installers

Solar Panel Talk – Great forum for all kinds of solar topics.

Solar Energy Industries Association – The national trade association for the US solar industry.  SEIA advocates for solar policy, regulation, trade, jobs and promotes manufacturing, installation and support for the development of solar energy.  They also seek to educate the public on solar energy and are a great source of information and news for the industry.

Solar Energy International – SEI is the premier non-profit training organization for technical training in the renewable energy industry.  They offer a suite of on-line courses and in-person classroom and hands-on labs at its Paonia, Colorado campus (happens to be in our backyard!).  Their courses fuel the competency of solar installers worldwide!

Database for State Incentives for Renewable Energy.  Who doesn’t want to find out what local incentives are available to go solar?!  This is the place to start!

U.S. Department of Energy – Renewable Energy Tax Credit Information – This is the big incentive for many solar installations!  Info sheet from the DOE about the tax credit available for the purchase and installation of solar equipment.

USDA REAP Program – Rural Energy for America Program information about grants and loan assistance for solar installation on farms and rural areas.
